Open call to artists!

Artwork submission is now open

We are asking artists, healthcare professionals and patients from all over the world to submit postcard sized (A6) artwork related to human anatomy for a public art exhibition. The aim is to highlight the human body / organs in a way that stimulates interest and provoke thoughts about organ donation. Particularly for those personally affected by organ donation, the idea is to allow them to share their story through art.

All submitted artworks will be exhibited during the National Transplant Week 2015 (7th-13th September) in a public art exhibition in Brighton UK, and also online. All artworks will also be entered into an international mystery art auction online to help fundraise for a UK based organ donation charity.

We welcome artwork of any medium as long as it is related to human anatomy and is roughly A6 (15x10cm) in size. We also ask artists to sign on the back of their artwork to keep their identity a secret for the mystery auction. The names of all artists will be revealed on our website and artist statements at the end of the auction.
