 about AFL

Anatomy for Life is a Charity Art event with an aim to raise public awareness of organ and body donations through art.

We understand that organ donation may not be a particularly comfortable topic to have with family and friends, therefore we feel that art can be a great to start conversations going. Art is also a great way for people to express their feelings and experiences and tell a story.

AFL started in 2013. Its main event being a charity arts exhibition, which displayed an array of postcard sized artwork related to the human anatomy which are sold online through a mystery auction to raise funds for organ donation charities.

We hope that the artwork donated from so many different places around the world can highlight the importance of organ donation to everyone, regardless of boarders, ethnicity, age and race.

So please help us raise the profile about organ donation, tell your family and friends, and join the organ donation register. To find out more about Organ donation, please visit the NHS Organ donation website.

“We hope that through art, we can show how amazing and wonderful the human body is, and remind each one of us how organ donation can save lives.”

Between 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2014
